April was born and raised in the midwest and always had a passion for art. Being an art teacher was her original career plan. Fast forward 20 years , she now resides in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia. She is a wife and a mother and found a creative outlet through painting and woodwork. Over the last five years she has started her small business , selling work in local markets, online, local boutiques and though publishing. A lot of her inspiration comes from nature and living in the mountains.
