We started this venture as a way to inspire more people to grow their own food. We believe that the creation and maintenance of sustainable food growing resources is integral to our long term health and well being. Seed is the basis of our food. Food is at the core of our bodies' ability to thrive. It is our hope that people will also take the opportunity to save some of the seeds that come from the heirloom seeds in our garden kits. In this way we can save some of our rarer plant species from dwindling and perhaps dying out. Maintaining seed diversity is integral to the long term health of our crops. We are now over a decade into this adventure, and we have learned much about what people need to help them not only be inspired but be successful. Our hope is that we can turn more brown thumbs green over the next decade and beyond. Important buying strategy: These kits and seed collections are best to buy in fall for Christmas when people are looking for gifts for gardeners.
