About Take Care by Sio

Born on the isle of Grenada, we hail from a culture much like others who custom herbs and spices to ease various maladies. I reminisce on childhood, delightful memories of my grandma mixing a pumice applying it to my chest, covering it with a fig (green banana) leaf, and tying in in place with straw! It never failed to work, leaving me better the next day and off on my way to school. Over the years I’ve used bush (leaves, bark and spices) tea to ease the aches. Fast forward to today, feeling overwhelmed with frustration & anxiety, I’ve optimistically turned to naturopathic world to contest these feelings. Take Care by Sio was forged out of the need and sense that I’m surely not the only one who needs support shifting their mood, to focus on what they want to do in life. Using herbs, spices and essential oils, I’ve created self-care ritual products such as bath soaking salts, body wash, body oil & incense. Every ingredient is specifically chosen to aid in shifting to calm, energy or relax mood. My goal is to be a helping hand, for my customers to take care of themselves while working to achieve their goals. I’m a designer at heart and being of service truly brings me joy.
