About Kamedi GmbH

The groundbreaking idea originally emerged in 2017 during a student competition. Annoyed by mosquito bites, we tried treatment using concentrated heat and were immediately convinced by the principle, but not by the available products. Too bulky, never on hand, and inflexible! So we decided to take development into our own hands. Insect bites can be effectively treated with heat, but there must be a "smart" way to do it. With this motivation, our four founders began developing an innovative medical product while still studying engineering.
