About Food for Thoughts Cards

Food for Thoughts Cards is all about giving back. With the purchase of each greeting card, we donate the cash equivalent of one peanut butter and jelly sandwich to an organization that feeds the hungry. We've donated over 68,000 PB&J's and counting! Here's the best part... we think locally (because we know you do, too). Retailers who order 36 or more cards may select a local food pantry, soup kitchen or food bank to receive Food for Thoughts Cards’ donation.* It's a win-win! We exist to spread good wishes and good will. With each card, you’re doing more than sending a greeting. You’re also sending a sandwich to someone in need. One card = One sandwich For twelve years, our founder Connie Charney packed a peanut butter and jelly sandwich to give to a homeless person when she took the train to Penn Station NY each week, headed to New York University where she taught a course. Walking downtown, she gave the sandwich to someone in need.
