Born and raised in Brazil, currently a VERY PROUD United states citizen and a resident of the Great State of Texas! Claudia had an extensive Arts background. She focused her talents in the fashion field by working with some of Brazil's top designers. While visiting New York City in the 1990's she met and married her future business partner, Paulo. Claudia kept active in the visual arts field by branching out into pottery, paintings and music, and dabbled with jewelry design in the late 1990's. Her home grown designs were big hits with family and friends, and after launching an Urban line in SoHo, NYC both Claudia and Paulo decided to expand their business by moving to The Great State of Texas. They settled in San Antonio, and quickly got the attention of San Antonio Spurs wives and player girlfriends and family. One notable admirer was actress Eva Longoria. Eva loved Claudia’s designs so much that she flew Claudia out the very first day they met to be with her on the set of Desperate Housewives and introduced her to the show stylist, who selected elements of the line for Eva’s character and on the hit ABC television show. The stylist later told Claudia that probably no other brand of jewelry was represented more over the lifespan of the show than Claudia Lobao. Read their story
