Studio Heijne is a womenswear and accessory brand designed by Dutch/ Swedish designer Wendy Heijne. The Stockholm based brand launched 2016 with the aim to not only design beautiful, quality garments, but also to celebrate women with all sizes and shapes. With a forward thinking, sustainable concept that combines digital techniques with old fashion handcraft, Studio Heijne has already gained broad media attention and been published in international fashion magazines, such as Vogue, Elle and Habit. Heijne’s collections are designed to outlive trends and be worn for many seasons. The signature designs have a minimalistic shape, with subtle designed details and focus on material, colour & prints. The collection exists out of garments made from natural and/or more sustainable fabrics, silk scarves and silk face masks. About The Designer: Wendy Heijne studied fashion design at ArtEZ University of the Arts in The Netherlands. Right after finishing her bachelor’s degree she got a job offer from H&M head office in Stockholm. She worked there for 12 years as a fashion designer. In addition Wendy has also been freelancing for the Swedish fashion brand Tiger of Sweden and The Swedish Fashion Council amongst others. Wendy´s vision is to create a fashion brand for the future. That is to say a sustainable brand for modern women of all sizes and shapes. Women who don't compromise when it comes to the quality of her wardrobe, the fitting of her dresses and production of the clothes.
