Bumpa Built began in 2023 with a simple request from a little boy to his dad: “Can you make me a bearded dragon toy?” That one 3D-printed toy sparked smiles, conversations, and a growing demand for more. From there, what started as a family project has grown into a brand dedicated to sparking joy, creativity, and connection. The name honors “Bumpa” (Mark Rivard), who taught his kids that building and creating together matters more than the finished product. Today, that same spirit drives Adam and Jackie Rivard, the husband-and-wife team behind Bumpa Built. Adam left his career in aerospace engineering to grow the brand full-time, while Jackie—dubbed the “Queen of Designs” by fans—brings her creative touch to every product. With the support of family, they turned their home into a bustling print farm and eventually opened their own storefront in Somers, CT. What makes Bumpa Built stand out is more than the 70 printers working 24/7—it’s the community that’s formed around it.
