About Leslie Gerry

Leslie is a British artist who trained in graphics and illustration in Australia at the Sydney College of Art. On his return to the UK, Leslie and his wife opened and ran a design studio in London during the 70s and 80s. Leslie now lives in the picturesque Cotswolds, where he continues his graphic design work through a series of stunning limited edition books. Leslie’s designs are created with layers of flat colour, which are arranged and cut to give strikingly intricate final illustrations. Although the collages were initially created by hand with paper and scissors, Leslie now prefers to use Illustrator and a Stylus. The “New York“ and “Animal” collections are now available as a striking range of homeware, kitchenware and stationery products. Read their story
