About The Red Door Press

Tammy Winn and Adam Winn (wife & husband duo) are the owners and printers of The Red Door Press, a letterpress print shop and design studio located in Des Moines, Iowa. With a focus on preserving the wonderful history of letterpress printing, they specialize in using hand-set type to make posters, cards, invitations, stationery, and other custom printing. Their work is carried throughout the US and the shop has been featured in various print exhibitions and productions both nationally and internationally. The Red Door Press began in 2012 in the Winn's garage and in 2017 moved into Mainframe Studios - one of the nation's largest nonprofit artist workspaces - in the heart of downtown Des Moines.
