I attended the Brera Academy of Fine Arts, Milan, Scenography section. At a certain point in my life, I fell in love with glass. We see glass as a cold material, but it accompanies us in our daily lives. Looking and inspired by the catalogues on the history of glass, I asked myself: “Why not give it a touch of poetry? Make it alive!” as was the case in the past. This is how Sirjacq was born, handmade engraving on glass with diamond tips. I started with small objects such as wine glasses (a glass is just a glass if there is not a beautiful decoration to ennoble it), and then continue on stems to be used as points of light. The subjects of my engravings, can be inspired by existing works, requested by customers. Or, through consultations, the gender or style is evaluated together with the customer.
