Founded in 2005 in Viana (in the Spanish region of Navarra), Hacienda Ortigosa is a family business that produces high-quality extra virgin arbequina olive oil by combining ancient olive cultivation techniques with modern harvesting and processing systems. In the pursuit of perfection to achieve an exquisite fruit, "Hacienda Ortigosa" combines three fundamental factors: human beings, nature, and technology. On an area of more than 270 hectares, the company has over 350,000 olive trees, exclusively of the Arbequina variety, from which it produces nearly 300,000 liters per year of a very high-quality golden yellow extra virgin olive oil. It can be said that the Arbequina variety is very similar to other varieties produced in Mediterranean coastal regions (Italy and Greece). Both its flavor and aroma are unmistakable, and once tasted, it is impossible to leave anyone indifferent. It is an oil for lovers of exotic and sensory flavors.
