Lucky Penny La is a young home decor brand from designer Noelle Knapp, with a rather humble beginning-a simple cloth table napkin. Setting a table is all about intention, tone, and story. Table napkins are as storied as the tables they adorn. Beyond a lap, they have been used a canvas by doodlers and great masters alike, poets have scribbled timeless prose on them, big shots have made big deals on the clean side, and of course, the scandalous have ignited scandal passing discreet messages. It's the tone they set that inspired Noelle to explore the narratives that can start the conversation at any table, no matter the occasion. For her, home decor is all about good energy, creating beautiful moments around the house and yes sprinkling a bit of luck around for good measure. Like so many women, Noelle juggled a career while raising four kids. Home was a happy place, her kids were her priority, and design was her passion. It all started with a sewing machine when she was a teenager, which led to FIDM, a brief career as a costumer in film and eventually owning her own successful boutique. Now as her youngest heads off to college she has returned to that sewing machine that brought her and all those around her so much joy. Read their story
