About BAO Skincare

Hello I am Beth, the founder of BAO Skincare. I have been working in the natural beauty industry for over 15 years but was diagnosed with Crohns Disease and Ulcerative Colitis in 2009. It has been a tough few years but having IBD lead me to the holistic and wellness industry and I am so grateful for this. In my teens I struggled with breakouts and slightly oily skin. I tried all of the “acne” products but they just seemed to make my skin dry and sensitive. I then started to use natural skincare products in my early 20’s and hey presto it cleared up! But then in my early 30’s I used to suffer with really sensitive skin, this was due to the side effects from the many medications I was put on for my Crohns Disease. I tried everything and just couldn’t find skincare products that helped to calm the redness. So in 2012 I decided to start formulating and making my own natural products, and they worked! Then in 2018 BAO Skincare was born and now my mission in life is to share my secret skincare hacks with you and help make your skin happy too, and believe less is more when it comes to skincare.Read their story
