Selena Porter started designing elegant sleep accessories for herself and her mom. Creating multi functional selfcare sleep solutions. Sleep is sometimes the most elusive part of our selfcare journey. Sleep is the glue to wellness, supporting how we feel and function everyday. We all use a pillowcase every day. The pillowcase can do so much more than just cover your pillow. My two passions are interior decorating and wellness. I believe a personal pillow can be comforting like a teddy bear or a grown-up security blanket. At age thirteen I had a health scare. Since then, wellness has always been priority of mine. I’ve been both a certified interior decorator and a wellness center owner. I love merging elegant décor and wellness in each product. I started Lux Pillows Plus to design pretty throw pillows that organically evolved into creating a sleep solution for myself and my mom. We are both very light sleepers. Many women suffer the same issue. Sleep is often undervalued but sleep is the glue to wellness. Surrounding ourselves with a few special things that we love can also affect our mood and outlook every day. My love of décor inspired me to start the business.
