About TORTURE COUTURE

Torture Couture was created during a 2-year program at FIDM Los Angeles. The designer, Grace, used TC as a made-up name for a brand-creating assignment. It was such a strange name but something about it just clicked, she decided to keep it even after graduating in 2004. Torture Couture is a play on how fashion and style can be many things to one person, without having to be any ONE thing. There are no rules to every day style and way of life. We are all capable of strength, evolution, our own versions of beauty, and our own footprints in this world. Grace makes laser cut jewelry and accessories, and more recently, pet accessories! Inspired by our world, her personal interests, and the people she meets. A little bit spooky, a lil bit jarring feminist. A splash of dark humor, with a sprinkle of whimsical sarcasm.
