About Erin Decker Creative

Erin Decker is a teacher librarian who needed some extra cash in her first couple years of teaching so she taught herself graphic design. Erin Decker Creative started as a handmade bookmark company and now has expanded to nearly 1000 unique products including journals, stickers, earrings, keychains, mugs, t-shirts and more! Erin was a struggling teacher who was eating ramen for dinner 5 nights a week and racking up her bills on a credit card when she started looking into passive income and ways to make money from her computer. She started a TeachersPayTeachers store in 2016 and taught herself graphic design as a way to sell her products there and make them look better using Powerpoint software. In 2017 she discovered the wonderful world known as #Bookstagram and from there she found so many amazing shops selling all sorts of goodies any good book lover would need. At this point she was enrolled in her Master's program and really needed more income flow. She started making the bookmarks she wished she could buy for her own photos and taught herself photography, light room and photoshop skills which led her to the launch of BibliophilePrints on Etsy. Very quickly BibliophilePrints grew in popularity through social media and through the years it has grown with its owner. We look a bit different now, and have updated to the name Erin Decker Creative to encompass all we do, but still are as passionate about books and handmade products as ever. Read their story
