About Pollinator Chocolate company

I'm the guy who always had a bar, or five, of chocolate on me at all times. When I was visiting other cities for work I would seek out quality chocolate shops over the taverns. Which was hard because I really like beer, but not enough to make it. :-) One day many years ago I stumbled across a little chocolate company in San Francisco called "Scharffen Berger". This stuff was amazing. That was my first launch into the world of craft chocolate. I then spent every possible moment seeking out other, chocolate makers like them I figured they couldn't be the only ones out there and while it still took a few years, others were starting to come online, Askinosie, Dandelion, Dick Taylor, and others are my heroes. Also, on a different day, many years ago, I attended a beekeeping workshop and by the end of the day, I was in love with these little creatures. I then embarked on a journey of keeping bees, building hives, teaching beekeeping, and traveling around the world to learn more. This combination of bees and chocolate resides in my brain simultaneously, which is how Pollinator Chocolate was born. While there are only a few bars I make that actually have any bee products in them, it's the idea that craft chocolate being small, and the little bees are very small but both are very powerful and important, together I hope to be able to shape the minds of people to protect the insects and plants of the world because without them it would be a less wonderful place.Read their story
