Handcrafted in Milwaukee, WI by Jenny Aicher with natural ingredients, Fern&Nettle soap and products are scented with organic herbs and essential oils and free of synthetic perfumes + fragrances. (Candles may contain artificial fragrance.) I started making soap almost a decade ago after being inspired by watching the process at a living history museum. I found the process fascinating and set out to learn! I started by making some early batches with a friend and gifting the final products. They were well received, and in 2013 Fern&Nettle was officially born. I loved fancy soaps and lotions from a young age, but I also suffered from painful cystic acne for most of my adolescence & early adulthood. I understand the power of quality skincare, and also the physical and emotional pain of skin problems In my college years and early 20s I worked for a department store cosmetics, and started learning more about what worked and didn't work for my skin. More importantly, I learned that I wasn’t alone in my skincare struggles. My whole life I have enjoyed making things, so soaps and bath+body products were a natural fit. For me, Fern&Nettle is a way to make quality, natural products to share with others, but also a way to connect with others I wouldn’t have crossed paths with otherwise-- our amazing customers, fellow makers, and other small business owners. **If our order minimums don't work for you, please send us a message and we can try to find a way to make it work.Read their story
