Handscollab was born in Bordeaux from a meeting between a carpenter craftsman and an interior design enthusiast. Both motivated by the desire to highlight products made locally rather than importing from abroad what we know how to do here. We make it a point of honor to respect nature by buying French wood from sustainably managed forests. We have extensively studied and refined the design of our stools so that they fit everywhere, with unprecedented longevity. It is through these reflections that we can offer a reasonable product with a very low carbon footprint while enjoying ourselves with a timeless and elegant design. Read their story
