Since 2005, City Bird has been designing unique goods and gifts that celebrate Detroit, Michigan, and the greater Great Lakes region. In 2024, we’re celebrating the 19th anniversary of City Bird. As siblings and lifelong, seventh-generation Detroiters, we founded City Bird in 2005 as a way to merge our mutual appreciation for design with our love of our city and state. In 2009, we opened our eponymous first store in Midtown, Detroit, where we sell work by 200 artists from throughout the Great Lakes region, as well as our popular house line of regionally-themed products which are represented here on Faire. Our signature products are the result of 18 years of experience in designing and creating our line, and 14 years of running a successful retail business and knowing what resonates most with customers. The products that we've developed for our wholesale line have all been popular in our own shops and we’re excited to share them with you.
