I have been in the art of creating All-Natural Herbal and Essential Oil products for the body and home for 30 years. My products are made in small batches, so they are fresh. My customers appreciate the attention to detail and love that I put into making my products. The seeds of Nature's Apothecary were planted 30 years ago in North Carolina where I grew up. It started when I was 17 visiting a friend, his mom started talking about herbs and showing me the ones she had growing. From then on I wanted to learn as much as I could about them. It must be my calling as I'm still as interested by them now as I was then. For 5 years I traveled the US, doing many different kinds of jobs to see the country and find herbalists to learn from. I was blessed to have met so many that were willing to share their knowledge, passed through the ages, with me. I worked on several organic farms, one was an American Ginseng farm in Western North Carolina. One was in California where I got to plant and harvest herbs! I started formulating herbal and essential oil blends for my family, friends and myself. I fondly remember my first bug repellent that I made for black flies in New Hampshire, it worked so well that I still use that formula today. I eventually ended back in my hometown in North Carolina after traveling and opened up Nature's Apothecary at the age of 22. Now, almost 27 years later, I have my store in the Poconos in Pennsylvania. I hope your customers and you enjoy my products. Read their story
