About Buzzee

We are a small women owned business based in Suwanee (near Atlanta), Georgia! I was inspired by my grandpa and my dad, who have been weaving cotton in India for more than 40 years - I wanted to create something with their cotton combined with my daughter's art. As I tried thousands of recipes in my kitchen with my daughter to create plastic alternatives, we decided on these functional and reusable food wraps/bags! At that time we did not imagine that Buzzee would have reduced 100's of millions of plastic bags and wraps ending up in the landfill by now!! We strongly believe in giving back to the community and one of our top goals is to help the homeless in our community by partnering with Atlanta Mission - the city’s largest and longest-running provider of services to homeless men, women and children. We also proud ourselves in promoting education in the rural part of South India - we employ first generation college kids to make our wraps and they absolutely love to be a part of Buzzee! This fully supports their tuition and breaks the cycle of them being a day labor like their parents. Below is the picture of my parents who runs our factory in India with our Buzzee team!!
