I always believed that my destiny was waiting to be found. In 2018 I believe I found it. My husband and I were walking around Disney Springs on our vacation and in one of the shops was a candle making demonstration. Candle making is a craft I was always interested in but was never able to pursue. When I saw this demonstration, my husband convinced me to give it a try. From that moment on, I was hooked. I tested and tried new scents, waxes, fragrance oils, wicks and vessels until I found a recipe for success. I gave them to family and friends who were more than happy to provide feedback. Very quickly I came to a point where I had so many candles, they were lining the shelves. My husband and I decided the natural next step would be to see how other people felt about the product I had crafted. This was the beginning of Shining Star Candle Company. With the support of a loving husband, we started a business during a time where small businesses were failing. Small batch, hand crafted, quality candles at affordable prices was the key to success.
