About Art by Sj Nielsen

Art by Sj Nielsen was born from my love of watercolor and urban sketching. What started out as bringing my sketchbook with me everywhere I went, turned into a business passionate about creating whimsical pieces that bring you joy. I was first a high school art teacher for a few years while running my business on the side, but have been full time for 5 years now. I run my business out of our home (often while our 2 little kids nap) and wouldn't have it any other way. I'm a Skillshare teacher, published author, and experienced watercolor artist. I can't explain how much joy I get from capturing the world around us. I have worked with local wholesalers for several years, and am looking to branch out and share my craft with more people! Each item has been carefully curated, and I have labored over every detail of my products and packaging to ensure you end up with a product you and your customers love.
