Nepal Tea Collective brings you premium, organic loose-leaf tea varieties fresh off high-altitude tea gardens in the Himalayas. A public benefit corporation led by immigrant, second and third generation tea producers from Nepal, Nepal Tea Collective's mission is to uplift a million smallholder farmers practicing sustainable, regenerative agriculture in Nepal, while serving tea lovers rare and delicious Nepal tea. Founded in 2016 by Nishchal Banskota as a way to support his family’s 40-year legacy of running the first certified organic tea estate in the Mt. Kanchanjangha region of Eastern Nepal, Nepal Tea Collective has always centered smallholder community-driven farmers in their mission to promote Nepal Tea in global markets. To date, we've proudly served over 20+ million cups of tea globally, earning a special place in the hearts of tea lovers. Our approach involves delivering premium, packed-at-origin teas directly to consumers, ensuring the freshness of our loose-leaf tea and providing a personal connection to the Nepali farmers and tea producers who bring these exceptional flavors to life. Our fair-trade model is reshaping the future for Nepali farmers, breaking the cycle of dependence on unjust supply chains. So far, we've empowered over 1236 Nepali farmers, championing community-driven, ecologically sustainable farming practices and increasing their daily income by an 48.5%. Read their story
