About Crystal House

Crystal house was born in 1999 on Main street in Downers Grove. Chaz and Elias bought the existing company back in 2008 and moved the operation, including a gallery of Chaz’s paintings, two blocks down Main Street into a much larger space. After a structural accident within that building the business moved temporarily into a shared space in Darien. Again, in 2015, Crystal House moved to a relatively permanent space, although industrial by design, in Wheaton. Realizing the need for a showroom, once again Chaz and Elias were on the hunt for a new home for their business. After partaking in a First Friday event in downtown Aurora where they were totally infatuated with the City of Lights, they completed their mission for a new space and cut the ribbon that opened the doors to their new location at 59 South LaSalle St, Aurora in December of 2019.
