In our house, pasta, abundant and comforting, was a way of life. I (Sarah Donofrio), designer and founder, learned the basics of cooking through watching my father cook - always save the pasta water, capiche? The table should be as expressive as your wardrobe, and an important aspect of personal style. The balance between cooking in comfort and keeping class and kitsch in the kitchen meet with our statement sweats, silk prints and whimsical place settings. Always inspired by the Italian American experience, and the constant curiosity to “live like the Europeans do”, Pasta Water is a reminder that gathering to eat should be special in presentation and simple in planning.
