About Guadalupe Design
Guadalupe Design is a unique brand that celebrates traditional millenary techniques from artisans all around the world. Our designs offer unique beauty, and timeless heritage. Our collections are created with love and inspired by designs from places afar. We seek to not only find beauty, but to preserve heritage and craft traditions such as Wayuu weaving in Colombia and Jamdani weaving in Bengal. From dresses to kimonos, handbags, jewelry, and footwear, all of our pieces are crafted with love and care. Among the techniques the artisans use are block-printing, weaving, dying and embroidery. We work together and support local artisans and producers in developing countries, always seeking to promote transparent communication, respectful and long-term relationships. We are helping them scale their businesses; hand-by-hand we make a strong positive impact over these economies. It’s much more than crafts; is helping to preserve traditional techniques and supporting local communities. Advising them on design, nurturing talent and how to improve quality as well as promoting a healthy way of living and fair wages. The use of natural fibers and low impact supplies is also one of our qualities; from silk to wool to cotton they conserve more natural resources like water rather than pesticides. We care about the environment thus we want to approach fashion in an ethical way.

The hats are huge! Would be nice to include pictures of models wearing them so we can see the size. The coastal hat is flimsy and $75! I was thinking it would be a very sturdy hat for that price but no, very thin. I gave them an extra star because they were quick to touch base with me to solve the issue.

Poor quality, 3 dresses same style 3 different fits, picture looks like a dress but sheer in person. I asked for a refund for 3 pieces but regretted not sending everything back. I was still charged and submitted a dispute.

I had SUCH high hopes for these dresses as the pictures I found on their website (where you can actually see what you're looking at) made me want to put them on and dance away into the sunset, BUT of course it was too good to be true ! Prints are cute, but dress isn't lined, and a TERRIBLE fit. The quality was the cheapest fabrics and for the price it's crazy! The wrap dress felt like the cheapest see-through robe, and the straps on the white dress stood up off my shoulders. I can't believe how terrible the cuts are and so sad this line did not work out, bc I have been looking for a more affordable boho fun style.
