About Solstickan Design

In true Solsticksspirit, Solstickan Design offers modern and vernacular products with high quality in home and interior design. The idea of Solstickan design is to preserve and pass on a true Swedish classic and thus support the Solstickan Foundation. Part of the proceeds from the sale will go to the Solstickan Foundation, whose purpose is to help children and older people in the community. FOR THE BENEFIT OF CHILDREN AND OLD In 1936, artist Einar Nerman was commissioned to draw the label for the ashes Solstickan. There and then the classic symbol of the Solstickeboy was created. The beloved boy and the text “For the benefit of children and old” adorned the boxes and the basic idea was to make a simple contribution to society by donating a few pennies of each box sold to the Solstickan Foundation. From an early age, the foundation focused on helping children with disabilities and chronic diseases such as diabetes and rheumatism. We are proud to be able to support and contribute to this fine tradition with Solstickan Design. Solstickan Design is operated by Tradingbox AB, which has an exclusive license agreement with Swedish Match Industries AB, which owns the Solstickan brand. The license means that Tradingbox AB has the right to produce, reproduce, sell and market products under the brand Solstickan against Swedish trade.Read their story
