Of Earth & Salt is a very small California lifestyle brand offering locally made women’s apparel with a focus on using unique hand-dyeing methods and sustainable dead-stock materials. We are an online retail shop selling direct to consumer as well as wholesale to other retailers. We make and dye all of our products in Northern California with care and dedication. We work with factories in Oakland and San Francisco to manufacture our products with materials sourced in Los Angeles and abroad. We are a woman-owned and operated brand, started in 2015 by two friends with a passion for sewing, dyeing, and designing clothes that fit well and feel good. We are known and loved by many for our seamless center-front design, which can be found on most of our bottoms. Its purpose is to eliminate camel toe and discomfort that can come with ill-fitting leggings and bottoms. We put a lot of care into our designs to make them comfortable, timeless, and most of all, a garment that will make a woman feel her best. All of our patterns are drafted by hand, pencil and paper, then tested and adjusted to perfection before production. We are the very definition of slow fashion.
