CashewMeetly is a brand that rescues and regenerates the spill-fruit Cashew apple into a natural and nutritious plant-based meat. For every cashew nut harvested, a whole cashew apple is thrown away today, that is a 90% food waste. In Africa alone, over 20 million tonnes of cashew apples rot away each year in connection with the harvest of the cashews. CashewMeetly buys the spill fruit directly from farmers, refines and final packages on site in the producing countries completely without unnecessary intermediaries. This creates many new new jobs mainly to local women. Our business model is circular, social sustainable and social and part of the profits are reinvested locally in children & young people's education and offer microloans to creative entrepreneurs.
