THE ORIGIN OF THE BREWERY IN GROENLO Groenlo has had a very strong relationship with beer for centuries. They are a proud, cool, happy and peaceful people. People only panic here when they run out of beer. Fortunately, another brewery has returned to this beautiful historic fortified city: Brouwersnös. OUR SPECIAL BREWING PROCESS What makes our Groenlo beers so special and delicious? We brew with the latest technology, but with a sense of craftsmanship and authenticity. At the Brouwersnös brewery, the specialty beers are brewed and fermented using the ancient method of open fermentation in large open tubs. It is a laborious way of fermentation. Every day, the brewer uses a large spoon to remove the beer's beautiful layer of yeast. What makes our Groenlo beers so special and delicious? We ferment all our beers three times. Very exceptional! The first fermentation is the already mentioned traditional top-fermentation in open yeast tubs. This creates intensive aromas, after which fermentation takes place in closed tanks, enriching our beer with natural carbon dioxide. This makes for a nice head and small bubbles. Finally, the fermentation in the bottle and keg, so that our beers stay fresh and full of flavour for longer. Cheers, let's talk about how they taste!Read their story
