We are Johan and Willem van Sas (father and son) from Baarle-Nassau, and since February 2020, we have officially started pursuing our dream: to market our own beer with Family Brewery van Sas. A few years ago, we started brewing in the kitchen, in an old preserving pan, fully triggered by Willem's course: Food Technology. Soon we were out, we were going to experiment with spices and herbs, and Johan's cooking experience came in handy again. We also quickly realized that it had to have something to do with our other great shared passion: music. Music has thus become the common thread of our concept: beers that are named after artists we personally care about, visually, the LP on our label is the eye-catcher and our beers come up with a listening suggestion while tasting the beer.
