About Made

Made is a collection of one-of-a-kind bags & home decor pieces, handmade near Baltimore, MD by Sarah Black. Inspired by artisans around the world, her collection uses a mix materials from as far as Ghana to as close as her local secondhand shop. With a goal of zero-waste, fabric scraps are repurposed into kitchen hot pads. 5% of sales are donated to a marginalized communities. Prior to Covid-19 restrictions, she organized humanitarian trips for makers to teach their trade to women in developing countries; such as Uganda, India, and Peru.Read their story
