My sister and I have recently moved to Portland; Oregon and we love it here! Previously we were nomadic travelers, you could find us anywhere between Washington to Arkansas. We both graduated from online high school while living in an RV full-time, we even built a tiny house on wheels! If we aren’t busy studying or sewing, you’ll find us exploring new trails, dog parks, or cooking. About the shop: S-Wag Dog Co has been a dream of ours since we were kids. We have always been animal lovers, and quickly realized many people resort to cheap “Walmart” collars that break easily and can put the beloved pet at risk. With a high-anxiety dog, I was constantly chasing my buddy due to the collar snapping or him slipping out. I was graciously gifted a martingale collar after someone saw me chase my dog down the road after he had just slipped out. When I was looking for an option to replace my collar, I noticed that many shops don’t make a martingale style, or they market martingales as slip collars which caused my dog to choke, as it would get caught on his fur and not loosen back up. After several months of trial and error, we finally figured out the perfect formula, although it’s labor-intensive we hope other pups can enjoy the product as much as we love making them while giving the pup owner a piece of mind!Read their story
