About Exquisite Lapel

I started making Japanese style tsumami kanzashi lapel pins after spending some years learning that discipline in the world of women’s hair accessories. I continue to refine my skills, and have added men’s pocket squares, as well as silk brocade button lapel pins. Many of the pins work beautifully on hats, especially when using stick pin findings, as opposed to my preferred tie tack finding for jackets and cardigans. I also make larger flower pins for use on women’s hats and other garments. While I love to use traditional Japanese shapes for my pins, I also tend to be innovative, whimsical, and quirky.Read their story
