About Dear You Paperie

Dear You Paperie is my little labour of love – a collection of hand-painted cards designed to celebrate life’s small moments and make the everyday feel that little bit more considered. I’m an artist based in North Yorkshire with a lifelong love of beautiful stationery. Over the years, I’ve collected paper treasures from around the world - always drawn to cards that felt thoughtful, timeless and well made. But time and again, I couldn’t quite find the ones I wanted to send. What began as painting cards for friends slowly became something more and during maternity leave, in the quiet of nap times, Dear You Paperie began to take shape - a way to reconnect with creativity and share something meaningful with others. Every card is made with care. I work with a trusted, family-run printer in London. We print on premium Tintoretto Gesso – a beautifully thick, lightly textured stock made by the renowned Fedrigoni. It adds a tactile quality that elevates the watercolour designs and it’s sustainably sourced, which is at the heart of everything I do. There’s something special about sending a card - the weight of it, the thought behind it and the feeling it carries. These designs are made to be kept, displayed and remembered. I hope you love them.
