About The Chosen Bean

“Some of my earliest and warmest memories are of Sunday mornings in my home, all of my family together. We’d enjoy a breakfast that was more like a feast while savoring the smell of freshly brewed coffee. I never lost my love of those early mornings; from there, coffee became my passion. What started with a small blender-sized machine in my kitchen has grown into our state-of-the-art Loring Roasters, housed in our 6,000-square-foot roasting facility in Oakland Park, Florida. The Chosen Bean began as a daydream in which I played “what if,” and somehow “what if” became “what is.” We are a small team of specialty craft roasters who are passionate about coffee and the crazy fruit that creates the wonderful elixir that most people love to drink. The Chosen Bean is a South Florida-based company that was created with a vision in 2008 It came to life as a hobby-based venture built upon our passion for high-quality specialty coffee and our desire to share this passion with others. The Chosen Bean is not for everyone, and it is not our desire to become another corporate brand.
