Since our brand began in 2011, ethical, considered making processes and environmental impact have stood at the heart of everything we do. All of our pieces are made in specialist, female-founded ateliers in the UK. THE FOUNDER British designer Diane Houston creates entirely unique silk and lace pieces with a vintage touch - designed for living and lounging more glamorously. Inspired by golden age Hollywood glamour and the joy of beautifully made things, Diane transforms lingerie and loungewear into wearable works of art. Mixing retro romance with a uniquely British creative aesthetic, Diane creates pieces for the boudoir and beyond. Gilda & Pearl’s unique feminine and fun approach to luxury fashion, with its emphasis on fine craftsmanship, has attracted celebrities from Hailey Bieber and Kendall Jenner to Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss and Margot Robbie.
