About Getting People Growing

We make kits introducing people to growing their own microgreens. Our kits contain everything they need including the seeds, soil, trays, guides etc. We also refill kits on a one off or subscription basis. All our products follow strict sustainability rules. We use terracotta trays, use mainly recycled materials, our guides, seed covers, boxes and packaging are all made from predominantly recycled paper. Our measuring scoops are made from recycled metal. Our special blend of growing medium is made from recycled materials from the coconut industry, and household green waste both from certified organic sources. Our seeds are certified organic. Our kits come in the form of either MicroKits, which is our main product, and MicroKidsKits, which follow the same strict sustainability criteria as the MicroKits, but are designed around education and keeping young minds interested in the (very fun and quick) growing process. We also make by hand in the UK our Tiered Tray Hangers, which are 100% recycled rope hangers, which combined with the trays in our MicroKits or MicroKidsKits make growing vertical stylish.Read their story
