RES|SCU glassware was dreamed up by a Honolulu based architect who wanted to share his love of cities and craft cocktails. Kevin spent his formative years moving all over the country and ended up as a bartender in the city of Chicago. Before long, he could no longer ignore the call of the islands and flew to Oahu to begin his next adventure as an architect. After spending years being immersed within city streets in a computer drafting environment, it dawned on him that he could combine the beauty of a city map with the sophistication of a high quality whiskey glass. RES|SCU began small in 2017 with a few city map designs to test the market. After a couple of successful years, RES|SCU is now up to 19 standard designs and will soon be able to manufacture an unlimited amount of custom maps while building onto the library of standard city designs. These glasses come in sets of two, which are safely packed into a one of a kind gift box. Each city has it's own sleek and simple design of the skyline on the packaging and also found on the glass. As a bartender himself, Kevin was very proud to be able to assist bartenders and industry workers at the beginning of the pandemic. When bars and restaurants began shutting down in early 2020, he felt he had a responsibility to donate a portion of all sales to the USBG National Charity Foundation. RES|SCU will continue to devote resources to worthwhile causes such as this.
