I'm Kerstin, the artist and founder of Vivid Cottage. My grandparents were factory workers in Detroit, so supporting American workers is in my DNA. I served my country as a teacher for 34 years, then focused on creating beautiful art and products to brighten your life. Vivid Cottage is run in a small-footprint cottage in coastal Connecticut, built in 1949. We have solar panels, a plug-in hybrid car, and use electric tools for landscaping. We re-use materials, recycle, and compost. Our products are printed on FSC-certified paper and OEKO-TEX fabric, manufactured locally with low transportation impact.
