About Vivid Cottage

Here at tiny Vivid Cottage, we create exquisite, hand-illustrated stationery and gifts. We'll be at NY Now Feb 2-4, 2025 booth 1322B. Hi, I'm Kerstin, the artist and owner. Our values come through in every detail, from the artwork to our products that are ethically and sustainably produced in the USA. We want you to be completely delighted so you come back often! When you buy from Vivid Cottage, you support other USA small businesses. The bouquets I draw come from Kristin, who runs her own flower farm. I set up the bouquet next to my easel and spend 30+ hours on each drawing using ink and Prismacolor pencils. The world disappears when I'm drawing -- I am deeply focused on capturing the wonder of nature so you can feel it, too. My original drawing is then professionally digitally scanned by Mark, whose family-run business helps other artists in our small town. Finally, I find USA-based manufacturers whose production work meets my very demanding standards. We earn our customers' trust and loyalty through our attention to quality and integrity in every step. Vivid Cottage is run in an actual cottage! We live in a small coastal town in Connecticut. We have solar panels on our roof, we re-use materials, we recycle, and are part of our town's food composting program. My husband drives a hybrid and he has converted our yard to native landscaping.
