About Burning Bright

Burning Bright was founded by Lucinda in 2024, after she left a successful career as an architect to follow a new direction—creating her very own independent brand of unique candles. Burning Bright stands apart from other candle brands; we handcraft every single pot, giving each one a distinct style and character that is helping us build a growing cult following. We pride ourselves on being 100% natural, using our own unique blends of high-quality essential oils inspired by old wives’ tales, aromatherapy, ancient potions, and traditions—all researched and blended in-house. Each candle is topped with crystals, homegrown herbs and flowers, creating a unique story in every piece and delivering a hand-finished, high-quality, luxury feel. The name and branding are inspired by William Blake’s poem Tyger, Tyger, and were designed and illustrated by Lucinda herself, along with all the candle artwork. All packaging is plastic-free, using reusable or recyclable cotton bags, uniquely branded recyclable boxes, and paper ribbons. The candle pots can be reused as mini trinket containers, and the crystals can be kept as special little keepsakes. Since launching, we’ve sold over 3,000 candles and currently stock four small independent stores. We provide training information for staff on each candle, free samples for them to try, and merchandising signage as part of our display package.
