About Bea & Wild Designs

Bea & Wild is a small design studio based in the Yorkshire countryside of Holmfirth, England. Bea’s products stem from her original artworks combining pen, ink, graphite and watercolour, alongside digital techniques. Delicately refined with a minimalist aesthetic, Bea & Wild’s products encompass the concept of understated, handmade and unique. The great grand-daughter of the late Scottish painter, John McGhie, Textile Design graduate Bea grew up surrounded by art and artists. “My great grandfather’s artwork was a constant inspiration to me from a very young age. I would sit for hours studying and emulating his painting style; a process which definitely led me to pursue my artistic skills.” A teacher of Art & Design since 2008, Bea now divides her time between both interests: teaching and drawing. “Having always been passionate about surface pattern, illustration and design, I was recently commissioned to illustrate April Green’s best-selling poetry book, ‘Bloom for Yourself’. This opportunity led me to further explore and expand my creativity, and I have since taken on other commissions, allowing me the chance to set up Bea & Wild Designs.” As a small business committed to working with ethically responsible manufacturers of paper goods, the result is beautiful hand designed cards, art prints and paper products that offer quality and sustainability. “I want people to enjoy my products knowing they are thoughtfully designed, as eco-friendly as possible and can be reused
