About Firebox Spice Co

Founded in 2022, Firebox Spice Company is a St. Louis, MO based purveyor of expertly crafted rubs and spices including Rib Rub, Chicken Rub, and Brisket Rub. It all started one fall night playing poker at Steph and Kurt’s house. The gracious host that he is, Kurt smoked a massive brisket for the entire group of guys. Between rounds, while others took a smoke break, Tanner slowly devoured more than his fair share of the delicious brisket. While Tanner was still stuffing his face, he uttered to Kurt, “You know you should sell this rub…” Fast forward a few years, kids, jobs, and other life events; with the blessing of both better halves, Tanner and Kurt finally sat down to build the business. Starting with three essential rubs, they launched Firebox Spice Co in July of 2022. "We are beyond pleased with the initial products and early success. More so, we are excited for what’s to come.
