About Ballcap Buddy

In 1989, our son came home from baseball practice and informed us his team hat was too dirty to wear in the championship game that weekend. I told his dad who was a part time inventor, to go out in the garage and make something we could wash the ballcap with instead of buying a new one. Within an hour, he came up with a frame made out of metal coat hangers that we could place this dirty hat in and wash it in the top rack of the dishwasher. So we did, and sat around the table waiting for the dishwasher to finish. When the cycle was completed, we opened the door and when the steam cleared, we took out a brand new looking ballcap. That was how the Ballcap Buddy was invented and became the first prototype of the Original Ballcap Buddy Cap Washer.
