The Wicked Griffin is dedicated to complementing the slightly darker side to life with eclectic inspirations derived from Paganism, Norse Mythology, Vikings, Medieval Times, the Occult, Esoteric & Fantasy The Wicked Griffin, officially got it’s start back in the late 90′s with the help of a high school silver smithing class. Being taught basic and advanced metal working techniques, The Wicked Griffin, aka Jacqueline decided it was time to start manifesting the images floating around her head in early 2011. I work in my home studio, where you will find me sawing, firing, hammering, soldering, etching and a number of other things! I absolutely adore what I do. It is extremely humbling to me and I am so grateful to receive all the love, support and positive feedback on my work. People like you make all the effort worth it. I love creating a powerful piece so that you may express yourself in a bold way. I like to think of my artwork not just as jewelry, but as wearable art. I gain inspiration from historic paintings, statues and depictions of ancient gods and goddesses, music & nature. I try to recreate a tangible piece of jewelry from these sources, while also maintaing my own inner creativity and drive. The body is a temple, and should be expressed as such! Read their story
