My Emollient was founded in Brooklyn in 2020 by Keeshagaye Whitter after her own struggle to find body care that delivered lasting moisture without feeling heavy or greasy. Inspired by her Jamaican heritage and her grandmother’s knowledge of plant based care, she created a more intentional approach to everyday moisturizing. Every My Emollient product is handcrafted in small batches in Brooklyn. At the heart of the collection are signature water free body butters made with a focused base of seven ingredients, complemented by lightweight body oils blended with carefully selected essential oils. Our products are free from coconut oil, synthetic fragrance, parabens, petroleum, dyes, and unnecessary fillers. Each formula is created with ingredient transparency, sensitive feeling skin, and an elevated daily ritual in mind.
